So summer is over. School starts again on Monday. That's
a downer. And we are starting off the school year on a not so good note. Dave, our singer, has recently decided
to leave the band. There are no hard feelings. He just realized that he didn't share the same passion for the music as the
rest of us. He is a great friend and it will be tough to find someone to fill his shoes. But we will press on. As soon as
we find someone to take his place we will be back out there playing shows and rocking out. We will also finally begin
recording our demo "Room With A Fan."
***Dave, you will be missed. We wish you good luck in whatever you decide
to do now. You're a great guy and one of my best friends. And you're always welcome at our band practices anyways. -Nick
Dave, we'll miss you. It was fun having ya. Hope you can find some other people who share the same passion for whatever

Anyways we are currently writing some new songs! Get ready to rock out next time we play. It may be a little

Hey guys. It's Nick. It's been a while since we updated this site. We appoligize for that. Let me just fill
everyone in on what's been going on. Our last show was at the White Rabbit with Self Against City. We were suppost to play
main stage but because of some confusion with the line up we got moved to the game room. Sorry if that confused anyone. Believe
me it confused us too. After that show we decided to take a break for the rest of fthe summer. We all had plans to go out
of town n whatnot. We figured that we'd take this oppurtunity to take a break and clear our heads. Now everyone is back in
San Antonio and is well rested and ready to jam again. Except for me. I'm still in Miami, FL but I'll be back home in a few
days. Once I get back we are gunna step it up. We are gunna play alot of shows, write more, better songs. And you might
even see a slight change in the OOS line-up.
So I hope you guys are well rested too and ready to rock out with us some
more. We will keep you posted on our shows and we will try not to let this site go again. Oh and we have some new pics up
so check that out. We'll that's all for now. ~Nick

Hey guys, J here, just wanted to tell yall that we're trying my
friend Dave as a singer this friday, and hopefully he works well and we all fancy him. Another thing, we're probably
going to record sometime this month, hopefully. If you have xanga, www.xanga.com/out_of_state if you have it add us..we have a myspace music but...i dont know what the
link is. But anyways, the show is on the 21st, even if we aint playin it come see it and support Welcome To Our Funeral!!!

We might be playing a show in May! That's
right...I said "might." Reason being we still don't have a singer. If we don't have one by then Chris (my brother and singer
from Eat the Snow) will fill in. But check out the shows section for some more info on that. We also have a new song. It's
awesome. It's called This Last Dance. You can read those lyrics in the lyrics section. ~Nick

Hey guys. I figured I'd just give a quick update on how we're doing. The band
practices are going pretty good. We are getting some stuff done finally. We are still looking for a permanent singer though.
Yesterday I recorded a little acoustic demo with the songs Over My Head and Falling Out on it. My brother Chris (singer from
Eat the Snow) filled in on vocals and I played guitar on it. It came out pretty good. They should be on purevolume.com soon,
